About company
More than 80 years of tradition in packaging film production in Slovakia and
Finland created the foundations on which our company was built. We are the joint venture of
the Finnish company Ab Rani Plast Oy and the Slovak company Chemosvit, a.s. with
production sites in Slovakia, Finland and Ukraine.
Having successfully worked for 20 years on the world market of manufacturers and suppliers of BOPP films under the “Terichem” trademark, in 2017 we created Tatrafan LLC – an enterprise for the production of flexible packaging.
The production facilities were provided with high-quality equipment and we also created our own graphic studio for the design adaptation and the production of digital polymer forms for printing.
Nowadays, our company is able to produce up to 5,000 tons of finished products per
year, and our team consists of 140 employees.

Chemosvit Group consists of a group of companies engaged in production, conversion and sale of flexible films for packaging, as well as for the electrical industry, production and sale of plastics, recyclable plastic, polypropylene yarn, machines and packaging machines. In addition, business includes: maintenance, production and electricity distribution, forwarding, transport and hotel services. Manufacturing sites are located in Slovakia, Ukraine and Finland.
Ab Rani Plast Oy
Rani Plast Group is one of the leading suppliers of plastic films in the Scandinavian countries and one of the 20 largest producers in Europe. Market segments: industry, conversion, agriculture. The company was founded in 1955. This is the company with its central headquarters in the village of Teerijärvi in Finland. The company exports its production to more than 50 countries.

Tatrafan LLC. considers quality as a key factor in maintaining long-term relationships with customers, so all production is subject to appropriate tests and inspections. The laboratory of Tatrafan LLC conducts experiments during production, controlling the main technical parameters, thus eliminating all risk factors that may affect the production process and product safety. Strict quality control criteria are also applied to the selection of raw materials. The company is inspected by government agencies, customers, partners and independent organizations. Our company has implemented ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, FSSC 22000. These control systems are a strategic tool that allows you to reduce costs, reduce errors and increase productivity, minimize the negative impact on the environment. This is a guarantee that the product is safe. Also, the quality of our products is confirmed by a certificate from the Halal Certification Center
